Not It

It was a gorgeous day for seeing the city from the top of the sky tram.

A perfect day for photos.

And a good time for the realization, come viewing all the pictures later, that there may be a reason this woman’s boys end up with stitches.

What kind of mama lets her boys climb rails?

What kind of mama lets her boy hang upside down from art sculptures?

What kind of mama props the other twin up and tells ’em to hang on tight while she gets just one more shot?

What kind of mama applauds when her child gracefully succeeds at the ancient art of pole dancing?

Good grief.

Someone should really have a word with that woman.

Not it.

ABOUT BETH WOOLSEY I'm a writer. And a mess. And mouthy, brave, and strong. I believe we all belong to each other. I believe in the long way 'round. And I believe, always, in grace in the grime and wonder in the wild of a life lived off course from what was, once, a perfectly good plan.
  1. we could play this game at my house too. it’s the spice of life.

  2. So glad you did the tram ride! If I’d known, I probably would have gone with you. What great weather for it.

    1. Serendipitously sunny on the rain-forecast day. The tram had to be done for sure.

  3. I can’t believe how lush and green everything is. But then again, it is the Northwest. Gorgeous area. Perfect day for pole dancing indeed. Someone needs to have a word with their mama…

    1. I’m a sunshine girl, so THANK YOU for the reminder that “lush and green” are the trade-offs for rain and rain and rain and rain.

  4. you guys have a sky tram??? book me a ticket!!!! 🙂

    1. Come! It’s fun! This was our 1st time.

Of course, it’s an hour drive or so to the city, but there’s a ton of fun stuff to do.
